Spa Information :
The concept of thalassotherapy THALACAP Spa exists since nearly twenty years and is available in its 4 spa: Ars-en-Ré, Banyuls sur Mer, Cap d' Agde and Saints Marie de la Mer.

The Thalacap method apprehend its clients as a whole (physical and psychic elements) and proposes treatments based on the infinite therapeutic virtues of the sea. Essential principles constitute the guidelines of Thalacap:
- Care adapted and tailored to every client
- The same staff caters individually to your needs during your whole stay
- Additional activities and an evolution of your care, adapted to your shape and needs during your stay
- Respect of the duration and quality of the care by all the team of professionals, by privileging the attention and information of clients and by providing care with specific and adapted products.

The medical team of the spa consists of doctors, physiotherapists, hydrotherapists, sophrologist, dieticians, beauticians, gymnastics and stretch instructors.

The Thalacap spas are known for the quality of the care they provide. This chain has come down firmly on the side of modern and up-market equipments and invest time and money on the training of their staff. Our customers always confirm themselves the quality of this spa.

You also benefit from a medical consultation at your arrival and a medical follow-up until you leave. You will have access to the Sea Health Area « Espace Forme Marin », to the indoor programs of relaxation, indoor sea sprayers and conference programs.

Infrastructure:
The infrastructures of the spa called « Espace Forme Marin » Sea Health Area are opened from 9 am till 12 am and from 2:30 pm till 7 pm. It is in free access for every client throughout the week. You will find there: indoor swimming pool of sea water warmed at 32°C, sauna, hammam, aquatic course, body-building room, gym, room of relaxation and sea sprayers, solarium, swan necks, pulsed underwater jets.

There is no minimum required age to access the infrastructures of the centre of thalassotherapy, but the spa requires that parents look after their children within the centre.

Services offered by the spa: loan of bathrobe, bathing cap, towel and sandals.
Access to the Sea Health Area “Espace Forme Marin” for people who are not clients of the spa for 10 € per person a day or 41 € a week.

Monitored activities:
- In swimming pool: tonic aquatic gymnastics or relaxation, aquatic animation
- Indoor: stretch, tonic gym, sweet gymnastics, stomach exercises, sports animation
- Outdoor course and sports animation outside

The traditionnal cure called " Thalacap Cure " includes:
- 5 dynamic sea care
- 5 massages or hydromassages (2 massages and 3 hydromassages in bathtub or 3 massages and 2 hydromassages in bathtub)
- 5 cares of thalassotherapy among which jet shower, spreading shower, seaweed therapy, underwater jet and pressotherapy.

The Thalacap cure is a global and individualized approach provided from Monday till Friday and which constitutes the common-core treatment of the spa. Its aims are: relaxation, wellness as well as care against physical or moral overwork, stress and tiredness. With this cure which works as a "common-core treatment" clients must choose a specific care according to their needs and wishes.

You then have to choose as an addition to the Thalacap Cure one of the treatments proposed called “destination”. The latter will strengthen the effects of your cure while answering more specific expectations. This destination will be added to the 15 cares included in " the Thalacap Cure ". The Spa proposes specific modules including 3 different care directed to the same action and short stays too: Cellulite, Man and Light Legs modules.

All the cures consist of 20 care: 15 care of the common-core treatment Thalacap Cure and 5 specific care in the chosen destination. Care are prescribed by the doctor and provided on 5 days, from Monday till Friday, alternately in the morning and in the afternoon.

The place : In the heart of the Camargue region, on the Mediterranean seaside, between Marseille and Toulon, the Saintes Maries de la Mer is a typical village of Provence which managed to preserve its traditions, in a natural setting.

The village, full of authenticity and influenced by the gipsy culture is surrounded by a large plain with ponds where you can watch bulls, horses and flamingos. It is a very peculiar universe where the land meets the sea under a generous sun : it is a land of freedom.

Thalacap Tourism Residence
This hotel includes 35 apartments on 2 floors and faces the sea. Flats are one-bedroom apartments of about 376 ft² for 3 to 4 people.

Their equipment : a bathroom with toilets, a living room with a convertible sofa for 2 people, kitchenette, bedroom with two single beds, terrace.

Facilities : TV, phone, equipped kitchen, equipped terrace with chairs and table, bathtub, pillows and blanket available. No hairdryer.

Thalacap Camargue hotel and Residence
Directly integrated to the spa centre, this hotel has 65 sunny and provencal style rooms facing the sea. The hotel is situated 50 m away from the sea and 200 m away from the town centre with single, double, triple and quadruple rooms.

Equipment of the rooms : about 25 m², they are all tiled and equipped with TV, telephone, minibar, equipped terrace, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer.

Restaurants : Restaurant "L’Oustal des Cascades"
This restaurant serves a traditional, balanced or dietetic cuisine with products of the region and seafood. On the large panoramic terrace you can taste a typical provencal cuisine. Breakfast served from 7 am to 9 am, lunch from noon to 2 pm and dinner from 7 pm to 9 pm. You will take advantage of the advice given by the dieticians of the spa resort and of the talent of the chef for personalized menus.

Sports et leisures : Inside the Thalacap Camargue spa resort: enjoy the activities of the Marine Health Area “Espace de Forme Marin” of the spa.
Located on the seaside, the Camargue Natural Park is an ideal setting to practice numerous activities in perfect harmony with nature.
